The founder and CEO of Bergen School of Business is Howard Kwak.
He is the School Director who is responsible for daily operations, faculty management, strategic development, and vision setting.

Mr. Howard Kwak is a man of very diverse experience. He has been a successful entrepreneur, lecturer, best-read author and columnist, an influential real estate and financing expert and respected investment advisor.

Until the early 80's he worked for LG and Daewoo, and then launched his own venture, Amko Color, one of the U.S.뭩 largest imaging prepress firms.

In the 90's he was one of the first Internet entrepreneurs with the creation of Hi-tech Media and
He was featured in the New York Times as one of Top 30 Asian-American e-Business entrepreneurs.

In the late 90's he founded Best Mortgage in Palisades Park, New Jersey, which has grown to be one of the largest Asian-American mortgage brokers on the east coast.

In 2007 he joined, as an Associate Broker, Top Realty in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, which has also grown to be one of the largest realtors in Bergen County, New Jersey.

In 2004, Mr. Kwak authored a best-selling real estate financing guide book called 밠ortgage Doctor? published by Korean Central Daily, New York. With 150,000 copies in circulation, the book has become entrenched as required reading for homebuyers, owners, and households throughout the NY/NJ metropolitan area.

Howard Kwak is also a well-known real estate columnist in the community, as his columns are regularly featured in newspapers and magazines, and he hosts several financing and real estate advice segments on TV and radio. He speaks in seminars and conferences as faculty member.

In 2006, he was awarded a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation ? the highest professional designation in the commercial real estate industry ? which symbolizes respect, creditability, ethics, and professional success.

In 2008, he founded Bergen School of Business in Palisades Park, New Jersey, which became one of the premier pre-licensing schools in the Northern New Jersey / Metropolitan New York area. With a staff of 30 instructors and administrators, the Bergen School currently offers pre-licensing and exam preparation courses in real estate, mortgage lending, insurance and securities, in both classroom and online educational environments.
